Mon, 11 September 2006 #73: 5-5-5-5 September 11, 2006 This episode of Road Rage is a memorial tribute to those New Yorkers who died at the World Trade Center five years ago. It includes sounds recorded that day from witnesses and police and fire radios, some of which may be disturbing to some listeners. As a native New Yorker now living in Maine, I wanted to tell these stories of New York and how it coped with the tragedy. The episode title is the bell signal sounded when a firefigher dies in the line of duty: five bells, repeated four times. This episode runs 15:00 Here are some links: Donna M.
